Supported Employment is a cost-effective and rewarding way to find and utilize competent employees who guarantee the job will be done efficiently.

How the program works

  1. Once the employer hires a Pleasantview worker, a job coach is assigned to that worker to work side by side at the work site.
  2. The job coach will assist in training the new employee to perform the required task.
  3. As the new employee becomes proficient with the job, the job coach will gradually decrease the amount of training time.
  4. Once the employee has reached a satisfactory level of performance, job coaching will be reduced.
  5. Job coach will be checking in with employer to ensure that the client is performing the duties correctly.
  6. If employers assigns new task to employee, job coach will come back to worksite to assist the employee. Job coaching time will fade as the employee masters new tasks.

Benefits to Employers
